At Frank Michael Jewelers, we offer more than just engagement rings in Chicago. Our family owned and operated company has remained central to its original goal of providing quality service to our customers. Many of our clients repeatedly come back to us because of the amazing products and services we offer at reasonable prices. They know that they can consistently get individualized service and quality products from us.

Our company is run by Frank M. Beltrame, the son of our founder. He’s owned and operated the company for more than 18 of the 40 years we’ve been in business. Frank is a native of Chicago and can often be found behind the store counter, helping customers to piece together the perfect jewelry for any occasion or cause. This is his passion. He graduated from the Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A.) in Carlsbad, California, and Gem City College in Quincy, Illinois. He holds honors degrees in diamonds, manufacturing jewelry arts, and precious metal.

Several Algonquian Native American tribes lived in the Chicago area for centuries before French traders began arriving in the 1600s. As the United States expanded westward, the Chicago area and the rest of Illinois came under American control. Chicago was incorporated in 1833, and its economy benefited from its location on the Illinois and Michigan Canal. Chicago quickly became a world-class city, and even hosted the World’s Fair in 1893.

Today, Chicago is home to over 2.7 million people, making it the third-most populous city in the U.S. Chicago is still a vital Midwest commerce hub—O’Hare International Airport is one of the world’s busiest airports, and more than 45 million tourists visit Chicago every year. Chicago is famous for its music, improvisational comedy, and delicious cuisine.
